About Me
Ciara Langtry
Ciara is a Sport Psychology Consultant working towards her final accreditation from British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES) with a Masters from The University of Roehampton, London. She has a passion for youth sports and athlete development and comes from a hockey and football-fuelled background, having played and coached both sports. Ciara has a strong appreciation for the role psychology plays in the success of athletes whilst striving to support the well-being of the individual.
Ciara delivers a wide range of sport psychology interventions on both a team and individual basis. Her team workshops are highly dependent on the needs identified by coaches, athletes, and teachers, and are tailored to meet those specific requirements. Individual sessions are athlete-led and place a strong emphasis on the individual person.
A little bit about Ciara…
She is a hockey player and a runner, with a passion for the impact sport can have on a person’s life. She values the positives sport brings such as new friendships, fundamental life skills, and a sense of community whilst understanding challenges are constantly being posed to athletes. Ciara currently works at Chelsea FC Foundation, looking to bring the power of the badge to young people who need the support the most. She loves her two dogs and catching up with friends over coffee or dinner!
